BACKGROUND:	Psychiatrist Dr Dan Milton became a victim of his own psychochemical experiment to access the dark side of humanity for theraputic reasons. It turned horribly wrong and unleashed a raging maniac of destruction - Mister Eclipse, the dark side none wish to face. Once unleashed, this madman dumped psychoactives into Star City's water supply, abducted various individuals, and created shadow selves of the Hero Collective (actual separate entities from the original), and blown up entire city blocks because the mood struck him. He has also made several attempts to be seperated from his 'goody goody two shoes' side. Despite apparent cures in the past, Mister Eclipse has continued to return to plague Lady Laser. Each time he has descended further into psychosis and mass acts of destruction (including the murders that would render Laserette an orphan). In one period of relative lucidity, Dr. Dan Milton signed himself over for long term evaluation at the The Emile F. Chopin Home for the Criminally Insane under severe medication.
