TACTICS: 
Mobile and hard-hitting, Manticore likes to use his agility to close unexpectedly with a foe whom he then eliminates with powerful HtH attacks. His razor-sharp claws are capable of shredding armor and delivering killing attacks. On defense, his high DV and strong defenses makes him a difficult man to put down. If he has a notable weakness, it is his tendency to overcommit to a fight.

- was knocked out and captured during the chaos of the attempt to kidnap Cipher.

- showed up unexpectedly in the supposed service of the good guys during the March Crisis. Operated under the supervision of The Golden Avenger during the raid upon the impregnable lair of the Justice Machine. Despite the presence of nine superheroes, Manticore managed to escape custody.

- like a bad penny, he turned up again in Rio des Madrona, threatening to blow the mission as Phoenix went undercover as a wanted mercenary in order to try to get close to General Mayhem. Seized the opportunity presented to try to claim the bounty placed upon the head of his nemesis within MAYHEM's Underwater Base, but found himself the target of a mindfragged Killer Shark instead. As the place flooded he fled in an attempt to escape through the depths of the facility.
