- encountered in MAYHEM's Undersea Base, and still present within just seconds before it was destroyed in the explosion of the Maelstrom Machine. Presumed deceased.

- This presumption was proven incorrect when he turned up in MAYHEM's Underwater Base. He departed quickly once the fight to take down Phoenix began, but only in order to arrange to have the Sea Devils attempt to deliver those who had abandoned him to die into a watery grave.

- led the ambush of the Knights in Rio des Madrona as they sought their captured comrades. Took some vengeance against Sub-Zero, almost killing him with a series of punishing attacks, then charged down to lead the team opposing those who had penetrated the security of MAYHEM's medical facility. As the Knights gradually gained the upper hand and rescued his would-be hostages, he retreated from the medical level of the facility and sparked a deadly conflagration behind him. Currently retains possession of the Sword of Amaterasu which he stole from StarSeed.

- also led the attack upon the The Santa Clara Skyway in Coast City during Operation Face-Off, which brought him back into conflict with the Knights of the Coast. During the initial course of this assault, Fist was targeted for a concerted attack by Black Blur and Templar which saw him temporarily captured (and stripped of a couple of his focii) before an automatic mechanism returned his unconscious body to an unknown location.
