BACKGROUND: 
Once a professional wrestler, Henry Hendersly lost his job when his mutant abilities manifested themselves. He turned to a life as a petty criminal and employed a background knowledge of medicine to act as a unlicenced (black market) doctor, until he was captured by Duriel (of the Devil's Advocates). Has also tangled with Sub-Zero in the past.

Incarcerated in Hard Rock Superprison, Henry refused the opportunity to escape when that facility was raided by rogue supervillains. This brought him to the attention of the Golden Avenger who talked the reform-minded Hydro into volunteering for the Strikeforce X program. There, he was assigned to the supervision of Agent Marco DeSalvo in mid-April, 2001.

After but two short months with the Knights of the Coast, Hydro was killed in action at the hands of the insane Hellfire, after the group was hurled back in time.

MOTIVATION: 
Serve his sentence/prove his worth.

TACTICS: 
His partially-fluid nature grants Hydro the ability to absorb a considerable amount of damage and to stretch his form to strike at an unexpected distance. His physical attacks are backed by the pounding fury of the sea itself and he has a control over water which he can use to incapacitate a foe.

KNOWN STRENGTHS: 
Very strong. Doesn't need to breathe and very resistant to extremes of pressure.

KNOWN WEAKNESSES: 
Susceptible to flame-based attacks. Cold-based attacks solidify him, acting as an entangle. Overconfident.
