Even on land he is a tough customer, who combines incredible strength with a surprising mobility to deliver splitting move-bys and move-throughs. Defensively, he is a little more vulnerable on dry land, but still possesses solid defenses.

    TACTICS  :  Canadian Shield seems to utilize a bluff, straightforward system of attack, leaving the subtle work for the other members of his team, such as Red Archer, with whom he often works. In actuality, however, he is a cunning tactician who possesses a keen aptitude for determining the linchpin of an opposing team, then focusing his efforts (consisting of hurled shield attacks and shield bashes) upon that linchpin. On defense, this fast, acrobatic hero possesses a decent DV and solid SD to back it up.

In battle he relies as much upon intuition as logic, and uses the full range of his flame multipower. Defensively, Crucible is weaker, and often gets injured in the line of duty.

    TACTICS  :  One of the most gung-ho of the F.O.R.C.E. Squads, composed of survivors of a platoon of soldiers that were decimated by the Masters of Evil. This squad is eager for a little revenge and are charged with taking down the most difficult targets by any means necessary. (When sent after (like Phoenix in this manner outside the Strongpoint Temporary Holding Facility, they weren't quite up to the job, thanks to the intervention of their target's allies.)

One favorite tactic is to flash an opponent's sense of sight, which is then followed up with goopy entagles aimed at his head.

    TACTICS  :  While Frostburn doesn't have the raw power of Crucible or Sub-Zero, he has at his control a very versatile command of heat and cold, and is capable of launching powerful ice entangles one moment, and flame blasts the next. His attack style is fairly straightforward and unimaginative and his moderate defenses can be overwhelmed by a strong show of force.

Restricted to the one physical location, it could nonetheless offer up a stiff defense to would-be invaders.

His physical attacks are backed by the pounding fury of the sea itself and he has a control over water which he can use to incapacitate a foe.

His preference for close combat is also a weakness; if he bites off more than he can chew, he may find it difficult to extricate himself before his defenses are overwhelmed.
