During a tour of Greenland and Iceland in 1860, Professor William Channing Webb unearthed a singular
tribe or cult of degenerate Eskimos whose religion, a curious form of devil-worship, chilled him with its
deliberate bloodthirstiness and repulsiveness. The cult practiced rituals which addressed a supreme elder
devil or tornasuk. Never large, the cult has disappeared and even been believed extinct at times before
reappearing with new leadership and membership.
In one of the last of these appearances, back in the 1970s, mystic researches suggest that the cult has
turned or refocused their efforts towards the summoning of one of the demonic servants of the ultimate
incarnation of enthalpy, Cold. Fragments of their records name one such demon, whose English name
name translates as Frostbite, an Avatar of Keelut (an evil
Inuit diety on the shape of a hairless dog).
The recent accidental summoning (and subsequent destruction) of this entity suggests
an intriguing connection between the dimension of Cold and the material known as
Ice-10.
