History: 
   Back in the 80s the war on drugs CIA was far less covert 
   in its operation. Once the hereditary ruler (dating back 
   to refugees from Franco's Spain) was removed they 
   installed President Jorge Perez. In the wake of the 
   American involvement the country was left in an even
   greater economic ruin. Not only was poverty dominant but 
   major American companies were busy plundering the local 
   resources for export, taking advantage of the absence of 
   labour laws et al. Perez and his followers found no 
   support from the former kingmakers for proposed social 
   programs to save his country. Enter the Soviet Union. 
   
   Corporate warfare erupted into street violence as the 
   poor began taking back what had been taken from them. 
   Again the CIA became involved in the name of protecting 
   American interests abroad. Former President Perez only 
   barely escaped the country, eventually seeking refuge in 
   France.
   
   From this chaos arose a man with the force of personality 
   and firearms to assume control of a nation spiraling out 
   of control – the self proclaimed President Juan Ramirez 
   Puerco. Under his iron fist an uneasy peace was 
   established and industry was rebuilt under state control. 
   Though he has been accused of being but a puppet for drug 
   lords, El Puerco has managed to avoid any serious 
   conflict from any faction.
