How are things with you in the FBI? Thinking of joining a
real force yet? You still seeing that Chet guy?

Got to hit the home turf recently, it was not my favorite
trip to NYC.  Growing up in New York and Spending most of my
life in the City (until entering the force), It is normally
a happy time for me to return and see the Family. This
latest trip however was a nightmare. Already Saddled with
the baby-sitting duty in the ex con Hydro I also had the
responsibility of Victor Stewart thrust upon me so that he
could attend this meeting we came to town for.

After several starts and stops I got Ariadne, bit of a weird
bird hook up with cousin Sylvia to do the town, maybe teach
her a little fashion sense and hopefully show this gal that
you can be a strong independent woman and still have a
feminine side.

Of course we could not have a simple meeting, with the
passing of the Keene act and the gathering of a wide number
of “paranormals” topics turned to the political. I do not
like the undertones that suggest a resistance movement may
be in the pre nascent stages of forming. While I can
understand where the anger and concern comes from it is not
the way. They need to stand up and show the world that they
are good people dedicated to protecting innocents from ALL
evildoers. A valuable resource. Of course there is so much
bad press, and fear still…thinking back to the Olympics….and
the confusion being caused by F.O.R.C.E.

Anyhow after the bombing of the club, I fulfilled my vow to
Hydro for a night on the town with a loose escort. The
expression on his face was priceless when he realized that I
was good for my word. So needless to say my evening was
spent bar hopping from one cliché to another. I must really
teach this man what bars the cool people go to. I like the
ladies and made several promising starts while shadowing
Hydro. I must say I really am concerned about his taste in
some women.

I do not know if he thinks that I am slow or stupid or
something shape changing into a priest? Was that supposed to
be templar? And talk about a skanky ho…man I have to talk to
that boy.

I got to spend some time the next day with ma, pa and the
rest of the family, Hydro was kind enough to remain scarce
through this (courtesy of another agent holding the
bracelet.) Sylvia got on well with Ariadne but I do not
think she had my success in either of my hopes. Pa is
enjoying his semi retirement and hip seems to be as good as
it will ever be again. Aside from my ma trying to hook me up
with every breathing female in sight and complaining about
grand kids or lack there of it was a relatively calm family
meeting. Concern of course exists as there is not just me
that has “weird powers” etc. and the stigma that may come
form the general Knowledge that me and Vincent  and you
Geena are “special”. I am glad that the Family supports us
and loves us regardless. I have seen to many people like
this Hydro character that are ostracized by their family and
the results or obvious. While hydro seems to be showing some
signs of being reformed etc there are to many rough edges
for him still.

Had a Talk with Sylvia and told her the full scoop on Hydro,
because ma was trying to set the two of them up. I can
safely say that he will not be seeing any more of her. Ma of
course only knows that I am working with him and not playing
guard boy.

Anyhow, I got to keep this short, we are heading northward
to follow up on a lead that Andrew has on that business with
the Justice Machine a while back. Probably a dead end so no
worries. You have my contact info while I am based out of
coast city; Hey does your friend Julia? Janey? Janet? Still
work out of coast city. I should look her up and see how she
is doing. Who knows maybe it is time to start thinking about
stop playing musical chairs and take a seat.
