BACKGROUND: 
Diablo claims to be centuries old, granted inhuman longevity by his trafficking with otherworldly beings. It is unknown whether his appearance during the Arthurian age was a matter of time travel, or a fact of him being the original engineer of the downfall of Sir Trelayne.

The powers he wields appear primarily demonic in nature - hellfire blasts, soul warping enchantments, and calling forth minor demons to imprison opponents. His quest is to reform the Black Book and thereby call forth the fearsome entities described within.

Previously encountered and defeated by the Silver Sorcerer.
