BACKGROUND: 
Assigned to the Knights of the Coast to assess their worthiness for "official sanction". During his initial meeting with the group it was recognized that he was a former Olympic athelete (Marksmanship, 1996), though he is loathe to speak of this particular bit of history.

(His cousin - a C.I.A. agent named Geena Carlito - is also an exotic.)

Assigned as handler to Strikeforce X recruit codenamed Hydro, mid-April 2001 until the death of that recruit one short month later.

After he was believed to have been taken into custody by the Federal Government in response to the trumped-up charges relating to the actions of the groups robotic doppelgangers, he has apparently been "reassigned". He has had no contact with the group since late June, 2001.

MOTIVATION: 
Upholding Law and Order. Preserving the Good

TACTICS: 
Combining unplumbed mutant abilities with his skills with fire arms and gadgets, Marco uses his weapons to combat most styles of foes. Lacking in mobility, he relies on heavy armor to give him the time to take down his opponents.

Fairly easy to hit. Lack of tactical mobility. Loses most of his offensive punch when deprived of his weapons. Forcefield weaker from behind, and cannot be maintained while flying.

- his relationship with them became less adversarial and he was almost considered one of the group after the affair involving the Crimson Claw.

- when robotic doppelgangers were used to implicate the group with treason, he courageously (some would say foolishly) remained behind to try to sort things out while the rest of the group went into hiding. Once the dust settled, the only word the group received about his status is that he has "been reassigned".
