"They are the right hand of Justice...
They are the Knights of the Coast!"

KOTC Database Category:   Cyclops, Team

Little is known of the origins of this group. The true identity of Dr. Cyrus Orlac - aka Dr. Cyclops - and the inclusion of the Synthezoids would provide a solid link between this group and the activities of Dr. Cadmus Orlac, the creator of the Synthezoids, who died in 1996. His brother apparently came to assemble this group in a twin attempt to resurrect the deceased scientist, as well as to get revenge upon those he deems responsible for the untimely demise. (The successful theft of the Element X™ [which sparked the formation of the Knights of the Coast] plays an unknown role in these plans.)

After the destruction of the Myriad Machine, an injured Dr. Cyclops apparently laid low to recuperate and create more of his monstrous followers, before he struck to first possess the body of Dr. Karl Manning and then apparently sought to do the same with Phoenix. Although thwarted in the latter attempt, he - and many of his creations - remain at large.

TEAM MEMBERS CURRENTLY IN DATABASE:

    NAME     :  BLUDGEON
    MORALITY :  Villain
    STATUS   :  Stronghold
    TYPE     :  Brick
    GROUP    :  Team Cyclops
TACTICS  :  While apparently of limited intelligence, the Synthezoid Bludgeon should not be underestimated. It possesses an animalistic cunning and ability to use its stretching ability creatively and to good effect. Combined with its near-invulnerability and massive strength, Bludgeon is a formidable foe.

    NAME     :  BONESAW
    MORALITY :  Villain
    STATUS   :  At Large
    TYPE     :  Brick
    GROUP    :  Team Cyclops
TACTICS  :  Armed with massive strength, a terrifying spike and capable of incredible feats of stretching, this creature's physical composition renders it nigh-invulnerable and a fearsome opponent.

    NAME     :  COBWEB
    MORALITY :  Villain
    STATUS   :  At Large
    TYPE     :  Blaster
    GROUP    :  Team Cyclops
TACTICS  :  Cobweb is a nasty customer, very deft and difficult to strike that attacks from cover and makes extensive use of stealth and concealment. Armed with a web-based Entangle and a deadly Poison NND, this Synthezoid will never present a fair fight, and will retreat if strongly tested.

    NAME     :  CROAKER
    MORALITY :  Villain
    STATUS   :  At Large
    TYPE     :  Blaster
    GROUP    :  Team Cyclops
TACTICS  :  Capable of projecting disgusting attacks from it's mouth, this creature's secretions are sometimes acidic, sometimes penetrating and sometimes entangling in nature. A loathsome opponent.

    NAME     :  DEATH ADDER
    MORALITY :  Villain
    STATUS   :  Federal Custody
    TYPE     :  Brawler
    GROUP    :  Team Cyclops
TACTICS  :  Take out opponents with its tremendous speed and sharp claws.

    NAME     :  DINO-MAN
    MORALITY :  Villain (Reformed?)
    STATUS   :  Active
    TYPE     :  Morpher / Brick
GROUP    :  Formerly of Team Cyclops. Now enrolled in the Strikeforce X program.
TACTICS  :  Dino-Man possesses a potentially great ability, but squanders it to large degree. He prefers to utilize the shapes of very massive and strong dinosaurs, and his idea of subtlety is to drop on someone from above in the form of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. While capable of mass destruction, he lacks the defenses to withstand the type of attention that such action brings.

    NAME     :  DR. CYCLOPS
    MORALITY :  Villain
    STATUS   :  At Large?
    TYPE     :  Mastermind
GROUP    :  Leader of Team Cyclops
TACTICS  :  Dr. Cyclops prefers to avoid physical confrontation as much as possible, operating behind a screen of lackeys and forcefields (if necessary). A genius and manipulator in his own field, he is rather single-minded and can be outmaneuvered.

    NAME     :  HOWLER
    MORALITY :  Villain
    STATUS   :  Deceased, July 7th, 2001.
    TYPE     :  Blaster
    GROUP    :  Team Cyclops
TACTICS  :  Incapacitate opponents with piercing shrieks.

    NAME     :  LAMPREY
    MORALITY :  Villain (Reformed?)
    STATUS   :  Active
    TYPE     :  Drainer
GROUP    :  Formerly of Team Cyclops and The New Injustice Gang. Now enrolled in the Strikeforce X program.
TACTICS  :  Lamprey is essentially a coward. Past encounters seem to indicate that he will attack only as part of a larger team or from ambush. In an engagement, he will seek out the weakest opponent. Given the poor state of his defenses, however, this might be the only way he can remain in a fight for any length of time.

    NAME     :  RABID
    MORALITY :  Villain
    STATUS   :  At Large
    TYPE     :  Brawler
    GROUP    :  Team Cyclops
TACTICS  :  A very tough customer, this savage creature possesses large fangs and talons which it doesn't hesitate to use to deadly effect. A supernatural rate of regeneration makes it a difficult opponent to put - and keep - down.

    NAME     :  SERVO MK.I
    MORALITY :  Neutral (Android)
    STATUS   :  Destroyed, January 8th, 2001.
    TYPE     :  Special
GROUP    :  First encountered with Team Cyclops, then reprogrammed and reactivated by The New Injustice Gang.
TACTICS  :  Servo had the tremendous ability to learn to duplicate powers used in its line of sight. This means that the longer any fray involving it lasted, the deeper its arsenal of abilities. If not for the fact that Servo possessed a very limited intellect and wasn't very creative, this device may have proved too much to handle. (Some indications suggest that it may have been learning these skills as well. If so, the group was lucky to eliminate it when they did.)

    NAME     :  SERVO MK.II
    MORALITY :  Neutral (Android)
    STATUS   :  At Large
    TYPE     :  Special
GROUP    :  Team Cyclops. Captured and made party to the plots of The Industrial Revolution.
TACTICS  :  Like it's predecessor, the Mark I, this Synthezoid had the ability to learn to duplicate powers used in its line of sight, thus becoming more dangerous the more action it saw. The Mark II appeared to possess more creativity and intelligence than its predecessor. It was more than a match for any single opponent it faced.

    NAME     :  STALKER
    MORALITY :  Villain
    STATUS   :  At Large
    TYPE     :  Psycher
    GROUP    :  Team Cyclops
TACTICS  :  Stalker is a very difficult customer to pin down. He strikes invisibly and unexpectedly from a distance, and does not permit himself to become overextended. If a fight turns against him or his allies, he is the primary means of escape with the assistance of his ability to teleport.

    NAME     :  SWITZER
    MORALITY :  Villain
    STATUS   :  Stronghold
    TYPE     :  Blaster
    GROUP    :  Team Cyclops
TACTICS  :  This Synthezoid is equipped with multiple internal appendages each capable of an attack type which it unleashes from the vertical mouthslit on its torso. Possessed of multiple actions, this creature is a fast and deadly opponent.

    NAME     :  SYNTHEZOID, THE ORIGINAL
    MORALITY :  Villain
    STATUS   :  Destroyed?
    TYPE     :  Brick
GROUP    :  Served Dr. Cadmus Orlac
    TACTICS  :  No data.

    NAME     :  UNMEN
    MORALITY :  Villain
    STATUS   :  Special.
    TYPE     :  Mooks
    GROUP    :  Team Cyclops
TACTICS  :  Attack opponents using their innate claws and fangs with a lot of raw animalistic strength and intensity, but little in the way of tactics or intelligence. Dissolve when severley damaged.
