BACKGROUND: 
Classic trenchcoat vigilante, blazing 45's of justice. Had an assortment of gadgets he developed (smoke grenade, night goggles, gas mask). Teamed up with Nighthunter occasionally, up unitl the case that pushed him too far. He's believed to have died in the late 50s / early 60s. He led a very violent life.

In early November 1939, while the group was stranded in the past and investigating some strange goings-on that led, eventually, to them unearthing the time-continuum-threatening plans of Baron von Falkenberg, they spotted the Crimbuster performing some investigations of his own, and assaulted him and took him into custody. After questioning him, they eventually released him with the intent to work in semi-conjunction with the infamous vigilante. The Crimebuster was subsequently captured by Nazi agents in the course of this investigation, and managed to escape when the Knights attacked the goons holding him prisoner.
