BACKGROUND: 
The victim of workplace sabotage at Militech Corp, and believed deceased, Vicky Barlow contacted Crucible in an attempt to find a safe locale from which she could investigate what happened to her and continue her researches. He had Lawrence Schexnayder find a place for her at Sirenos Inc., where she met Victor Stewart.

Her inclusion as a Knight happened gradually, and was formalized as a result of events that took place on the Arctic investigation / space trip.

Given control over the computer systems in the Redoubt in March, 2001 and grew rather attached to Cru-S. Was therefore rather distraught when that entity was stolen and later destroyed. Determined to somehow repair him, possibly using the components of its "sibling", Mordred.

MOTIVATION: 
Pursue Science.

TACTICS: 
Cipher has operated largely in an invaluable supporting role for the group, using her invisibility as a screen from which to entangle opponents.

KNOWN STRENGTHS: 
Very intelligent. Capable of juryrigging impressive electronic gadgets.

KNOWN WEAKNESSES: 
Prone to acts of impulsiveness when her curiosity has been engaged. Also, her passion for science has at times placed her at odds with the remainder of the group.

Universal Field NND (cannot be used through her entangles). A variety of Entangles (transparent).
