ARMORDILLO
|
| QUOTE: | "It's rolling time!" "Armordillo will flatten you!" |
BACKGROUND: |
It is believed that Norris MacReady was a member of the Cyberclan. Certainly he had sufficient access to that organization to steal a prototype (weaponless) animech battlesuit from them in late 1999. Using that suit to enable his crimes, he has fled to the United States where he has been on the move constantly, trying to stay ahead of the Cyberclan assassins known to be on his tail. After some time spent knocking off small and poorly guarded targets (like small-town banks) and trying to avoid heroic organizations, Armordillo changed his tactics in mid-February, 2001, when he made an unprovoked attack upon the retirement home housing the former Captain Strong. This attack was dispersed with little more than property damage by the arrival of The Golden Avenger and Kid Silver. The reason why he did this was covered during his confession to the FBI after his capture during the kidnapping of Captain Thunder. |
MOTIVATION: |
Petty Criminal/Mercenary. |
TACTICS: |
Armordillo is a pretty predictable opponent. Wearing a 12' tall armored suit, he possesses incredible strength but little depth. In his bank jobs, he's favored smash-and-grab operations, taking a minimal time to rip open the vault doors and grab convenient loot. On open ground, he also uses the peculiar mobility of his suit (it folds in on itself to form a cylinder and rolls at a considerable velocity) to bash through opponents and obstacles. |

- Captain Strong: "They should have let me at him! I may be old, but I've still got a few tricks in me. I remember the time..." - Susurro: "No subtlety, no strategy. But his tactics, despite being crude, are truly effective." |
