Over time there has been a great many events held at the park. It is interesting to note the evolution of the park at each of these events. From first field of dirt all the way to the Grand Opening and beyond.

Thinking back to one of the first events that my family and I attended, there was a wee bit of grass (new sod), a couple of tents, a BBQ and some entertainment. We walked most of it in the dust and weeds, listened to some great tunes and enjoyed a hot dog or two.

Recently the Grand Opening was held. What a spectacular sight to behold, especially knowing the many changes. To partake in the many events, the variety of entertainment and now multiple food vendors, for the crowd that was originally small enough to fit my back yard to now several thousand.

There was a variety of entertainment and demonstrations to choose from. Having four young children, the most spectacular in our family was the timed ribbon cutting and Waterpark startup. The excitement of the moment, knowing that a great deal of the park project was now complete, knowing just some of what it took to get it there, to be there to watch the Children's waterpark spring to life, well, how does one put it... a day to be remembered always.

As much as we'd like to make this the greatest guide there is, there are just too many factors to be included. There are many different events as well as person's coordinating them. The best that we can do is with the information supplied.
