The Alberta Kennel Club, an all-breed dog club, was founded in 1904 by a group of Sporting Dog enthusiasts. It's the one of the oldest continually operated kennel club in Canada with a modest membership of 50 dedicated volunteers.

The club was founded about nine years ago by a small group of Beagle fanciers and has grown to over 100 voting members. Although based in BC, we have members from the the U.S., Ontario, and the Prairies as well.
