Gusty and Sadie

The beagle ladies that whelped the first Goodsir puppies were Am. Can. Ch. Holiday's Sadie Hawkins, C.D. (from American background) and Can. Ch. Gusty Winds of Goodsir, C. D. (born in B.C.). Sadie's line stopped with her grand puppies. Gusty's line still goes on with Bluster and MIPS.

Gusty Winds of Goodsir

Gusty Ch. Gusty Winds of Goodsir C.D., whelped July 10, 1985 - bred by Bill and Dianne Campbell and born in Calgary, Alberta. Gusty was my first beagle for my breeding program although Sadie produced the first litter at Goodsir. Gusty's father was Yarra-Belles' Skys The Limit bred by Gwen Marotte and owned by Jane Lloyd of Edmonton, Alberta. Sky was number one beagle in Canada for several years. The great dogs behind Gusty are The Whim's Sky Rocket (brother to The Whim's Buckeye) and Wagon Wheels Wisecrack. Gusty only produces 10 puppies and two champions Goodsir Resplendent Wind Sting and Goodsir Fidelity Winds. Fidelity Winds produced four champions, and her daughter Goodsir Bright Angel Patch has produced three champions, so far.

Holiday's Sadie Hawkins

Sadie Am. Can. Ch. Holiday's Sadie Hawkins C.D. born on February 29, 1984 in Massachusetts. Her breeders are Paul and Arline Buckley, under the guidance of Sandy Robichaud of Chrisette. I imported Sadie into Canada just before her second birthday, purchasing her from John and Zane Platt. Sadie is a daughter of Chrisette's Macho Man, niece of Chrisette's Joshua and grand daughter of Kings Creek Triple Threat. She gave us many happy, healthy puppies and two champions Goodsir Waddington Weagle and Goodsir Macho Bachelor. Unfortunately none of Sadie's offspring ever produce puppies that could continue in the Goodsir breeding program.
