Hi everybody! One of the benefits of the "Wet Coast" is that the clouds often produce superb and colourful sunsets. This is the view from the Penthouse patio just after the peak colour (timing was a little off).

Usually, the sunny weather follows a cold Arctic front moving in. That makes the end of the rain deliver snow on the mountains. This is Cypress Mountain after a "dusting" of snow viewed from our livingroom. |

Our pets, Boots and Flash get along well together. One of the choices in a "no pets" building is a pet that needs little maintenance and makes little noise. Cats fit the bill perfectly and, as former dog people, we have adjusted and really enjoy the "boys". For a look at the boys since they were just a handful, have a look at our photo album |

The views in every direction are pretty special. Here is the moon rising over Burrard Inlet with part of dowtown Vancouver and the Lions Gate bridge to Stanley Park. The trees in the foreground are a part of the Capilano park and nature trail that we use regularly. It leads to the "doggie beach" at Ambleside Park where we get our dog fix in the off-leash area. Here are Keith and Faye tanned and relaxed in Puerto Vallarta in January. The Palapa showing above our heads is where we serve refreshments before dinner. Being a ground floor condo right on the beach, it gets a lot of friends and neighbours dropping in for some refreshments and chat. Here are more pictures from Faye's cottage in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Although it is mostly play now, they both still have some involvement in business. |

Here is the view from our home in PV. Just a half block away is Felipe's Restaurant, with another block walk to The Vista Grill, one of PVs 5-star destinations. It is 3 blocks to PVs restaurant row (Basilio Badillo). The furnishings as purchased were truly exceptional: fine paintings, urns, china, statues. Although 15 years old, it has been maintained like new by the prior owner who also owns La Dolce Vita restaurant. See a complete photo tour here. |

Faye's mom at 83 celebrating Christmas dinner at Quilchena Golf Club in 99. She has since quit the club in January 2002 because all her golfing partners either died or went into seniors homes. She still manages her townhouse in Richmond with a few chores done by Keith, a lot of work by Faye, and with help from some social workers and household help. |

Here is Keith's Dad when he was 93 helping with the yard at Cachet in Markham. He remained active until a stroke in December 99 caused him to have difficulty remembering. The doctor got his drivers licence lifted in February 2000. Another stroke in July caused him to fall and break his hip. He passed away peacefully three days later. We got to see the fast ferries returning to North Van for repairs more often than most taxpayers would like! We also see all Cruise ships carrying over a million passengers to Alaska each summer. For some of the other great scenes we have photographed, click here! Here is a Test photo album
