Big Daddy & The Water Ratts are a fun loving bunch from Calgary, Alberta. The band formed in the summer of 2005 just in time for Calgary’s stampede breakfast circuit, finding the aroma of free pancakes and sausage too hard to resist. What was supposed to be a one trick pony soon turned into a work horse, and the band has been playing together ever since.
Led by the contagiously charismatic Big Daddy, The Water Ratts have a diverse sound that encompasses many decades and genres. Known for toe tapping cover shows, The Water Ratts also have an impressive catalogue of original songs.
Don’t tell anyone, but The Water Ratts are also known for their big sappy hearts, playing numerous charity events and benefits to help support worthy causes like The United Way.
