Interview: pp. 112-116 The Riel Rebellion: A Biographical Approach by Charles and Cynthia Hou

Theresa Delaney was the wife of the farm instructor at Frog Lake reserve. She was present when her husband and 10 other people, including two priests, were killed by the war chief of Big Bear's Crees. She was taken hostage, along with another settler, Theresa Govenlock, and the HBC clerk, William Cameron. These hostages were forced to flee along with the band and spent two months in captivity.
