BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: According to Trail researcher Courtney Palsson, Barclay moved to Fruitvale
from Exshaw, Alberta, in 1921. According to Duncan Barclay, a son, " my
father used to hike from Alberta all the way through this country with
cameras and equipment taking pictures in logging camps all through Sparwood
and places." Barclay's photographs were destroyed in 1939 when his house
burned down during a massive forest fire. Marshall (1998) states that he lived in Manitoba.
Marshall (1998: 28) includes a self-portrait.

BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY: A photographer and artist in oils, he ran studios in Parkland and Tacoma, Washington. His specialty was landscapes, including Mount Rainier National Park and the Columbia River Gorge.
In 1901 he visited Chilliwack to photograph a Passion Play, one
of several photographers to document this religious event among the First Nations of the Fraser Valley during the 1890s and early 1900s.

Bentley's wife died in 1963 and he was survived by his son Robert and
daughter Mrs. Dorothy Mason, both of Vancouver, BC.

Bradbury emigrated to Canada from Borneo. A telegrapher, he photographed throughout the Vancouver region as well
as along the Sunshine Coast.
Peter Grant's book on Vancouver Island postcard photographers notes that he
worked at San Mateo Bay (Barkley Sound) beginning in December 1902, then supervised
at Cape Lazo near Comox starting in 1908, and moved to another station on the
Sechelt Peninsula (Sunshine Coast) in 1913.

While in Grand Forks he took photographs, most likely portraits. Bruno was also
supposed to " make a tour of the principal cities before permanently settling."
According to the Grand Forks newspaper, his initial residence in Vancouver was
at the Vancouver Hotel.

he was a photographer for the Canadian Photo Co.
