Presidents Message

The speaker for the November meeting is Joel Duncan. Joel is a professional photographer with the Professional Photographers of Canada and a member of the Alberta Professional Photographers Association. Joel also does fine art photography and will share some of his images with us.

We have booked the Glencoe club again for our Christmas Brunch and yearly awards presentation. We will be starting brunch at 10:30am Sunday Dec. 8/02 in the Glencoe dining room. This is a family affair, so bring your husband or wife and your kids. The cost for brunch is $20.00 for adults and a price for children is still being worked out. If we have at least 30 people attending, we will be able to have a room to ourselves. Tickets to this most prestigious event will be on sale at the November and December monthly meetings. Hope to see you there.

Members in the Spot Light

Brian Henson is in the October issue of B&W Photography magazine that comes out of England. Congratulations are in order for Brian as well. The magazine is in bookstores now.

Brian Mitchell Is one of the Photographers Featured in the Wide Open exhibit at the Photospace Gallery. The exhibit opens on Friday, November 15th from 5pm to 9pm .Photospace is located on the 2nd floor of 1235 - 26 Avenue S.E.
