The company was founded in 1994 under the name of Bates
Management Corporation, but the principle shareholder,
Gordon J.C. Bates began with an unincorporated company in the mid
seventies in the accounting field. Many years were spent, increasing
the accounting business and developing accounting software that
is now one of the major activities of the company. This software
can be viewed at the JADE
Software Systems Inc. website. Many businesses and accountants
use the software because it is unique. Bookkeeping, capital assets,
working papers and formal financial statements are all integrated
into one system.
In January of 1999, Nicholas R.O. Bates joined the firm, providing
professional computer services to the company. These services range
from web design and multimedia design to graphic design and desktop
publishing. With his knowledge of today's sophisticated programs
he will add greatly to the array of services we can provide our
clients. In addition, Nicholas began his own company, Iconic Media,
which is a division of Bates Management Corporation. The company
will be able to assist clients with software installations and set-ups.

Gordon J.C. Bates
President / CEO
In 1994 under the name of Bates Management Corporation, the
principle shareholder, Gordon J.C. Bates began with an unincorporated
company in the mid seventies in the accounting field. In 1999, Gordon
opened a division of the company dedicated to new media development
titled Iconic Media. With numerous years of experience in business
management, accounting and software development, his expertise is
an invaluable asset to the company.

Nicholas has been involved in the new media industry
for over 9 years with a degree in Multimedia Design and Communication.
With a great deal of experience in graphic design, web site design,
web application development, web communication and interactive development,
Nicholas utilizes these qualites to professionally push the company
to new lengths. With an interest in education, Nicholas has also
completed courses for Visual Basic, Microsoft SQL Server, PHP and
MySQL technologies to allow the company to continually grow. He
also has an extensive background in the performing arts, particularly
magic, which he utilitzes to bring the dynamic creativity and team
based skills forth which are key in this industry.
