Our Siamese are available only as pets, to be neutered or spayed, because they have one Balinese parent and are registered as Siamese-Balinese variants. They carry the recessive gene for longhair and should not be used in a Siamese breeding program. We breed back to the parent Siamese breed in order to improve type and to increase the gene pool. The resulting shorthaired variant cat looks just like a Siamese and has a short coat. Occasionally it may feel a little plushier than a true shorthaired Siamese. When bred to a Balinese, the variant cat will produce approximately 50% shorthaired kittens and 50% Balinese. Because of these odds, we frequently have shorthaired variant kittens available as pets for those people who are looking for a Siamese type kitten.
We specialize in the lynx point (tabby point) colors but occasionally will have seal, blue, chocolate and lilac point. Our kittens are most frequently seal lynx and blue lynx point and only occasionally do we produce chocolate and lilac lynx points. The kittens are registered with TICA as Siamese-Balinese variants and with CFA as Javanese. TICA allows them to be shown in the Siamese class and Balimoor cats have done well at the shows. To date two of our females have earned TICA's highest title, Supreme Grand Champion, in show competition as Siamese.
