The jukebox has the following computer components.  450 Mhz AMD processor with 192 MB memory and 20 GB hard disk drive. The sound, video and lan are built into the MB.  A separate keypad is used on the cabinet and an Creative Labs IR keypad and IR receiver is used to control the cabinet remotely.  A 100 watt computer speaker system with subwoofer was installed.

W98 SE is used as the operating system and the jukebox program is Virtual Music Jukebox 4.7.  The IR control is operated by a program called GIRDER. It allows the IR remote to be configured as required to run any application.  The jukebox may also be used as a game cabinet with a Powerramp Mite gamepad and MAME.

MP3s are loaded onto the harddrive by using a utility program called FreeRip.
