ALLEGRO CON TRIO Wedding Music Planning GuidePRELUDE We recommend that music begin 15 minutes prior to the ceremony, as guests are being seated by the ushers. You may select music of your preference, or allow us to arrange a varied programme of appropriate pieces.
PROCESSIONAL: For the bride’s procession down the aisle, music with a slow tempo in 2/4 or 4/4 time is suitable. The following pieces are appropriate choices:
Bridal Chorus ("Here Comes The Bride") - Wagner Pachelbel's "Canon" in D major Largo from Winter Concerto – A. Vivaldi Air from “Water Music” – G.F. REQUESTSWe would be pleased to provide pieces of your choice which are not listed, given a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice. Should you choose to provide us with music, it must be scored for two treble voices and one bass voice (piano music is NOT suitable). If it is necessary to transcribe your selections to suit our ensemble, a $25/hour transcription fee will apply.
