Waffles & Dutch Waffles
Instructions:-
Preheat waffle iron. If necessary, grease with shortening.
Combine:-
2 eggs
1-1/4 cups milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil OR melted shortening
Stir in:-
2 cups Basic Baking Mix
Beat with beater or spoon until smooth. Pour 1/3 cup batter for each section onto preheated waffle iron. Bake until steam stops escaping.
Serve hot with butter and maple syrup.
Makes 9 (4-inch) waffles.
If desired, waffles may be made ahead, wrapped and stored in freezer.

Dutch Waffles
Prepare waffles as above but separate eggs and fold in beaten egg whites before pouring into waffle iron.
