Tea Biscuits
These are delicious served hot with jam or jelly.
Instructions:-
Preheat oven to 425ºF.
Mix together:
2 cups Basic Baking Mix
1/2 cup milk
Stir with a fork to make a soft, slightly sticky dough. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently 8 to 10 times.
Pat or roll 1/2-inch thick. (Biscuits double in height during baking). Cut out with a floured cookie cutter.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet, close together for soft-sided biscuits or 1-inch apart for crusty sided biscuits.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden.
Makes 12 (2-inch) biscuits.
