German Style Pancakes
Yield:- One 9-inch pancake, 6 to 8 servings
1 cup basic formula mix (do not pack)
1 cup milk
5 eggs
1 cup jelly, jam or sweetened fruit
Directions:-
Combine mix and milk in a bowl. Blend thoroughly. Add one egg at a time and beat with a rotary beater (hand or electric) after each addition.
Pour into a hot greased skillet (9-inches across bottom).
Cook over low heat until slightly set on bottom and sides, then place o=in a hot oven (425ºF) and bake for 25 minutes.
To serve; sprinkle lightly with salt and spread with jelly, jam or sweetened fruit.
Cut into wedges. Serve hot for dessert.
