Good Ole Brownies

These are moist, tender brownies.

Instructions:-
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Grease a 9-inch square cake pan.

Cream together:
1/3 cup shortening
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs

Gradually blend in:
1 cup Basic Baking Mix
2 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts.
Turn into prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until brownie starts to pull away from the sides of the pan.

Cool and cut into bars.
Makes 24 bars.
