English Fish & Chips

Be sure to have the fat about 2-inches deep for a crisp and puffy golden coating on the fish. Make the chips (french fries) the easy way by oven baking the frozen ones.

Instructions:-
Preheat deep fat to 375ºF.

Beat together
1/3 cup cold water
1 egg
2 teaspoons vinegar
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt

Add and beat with a beater until smooth:-
1 cup Basic Baking Mix

Coat
1 pound fish fillets
with some dry Baking Mix. Then dip fish in batter and deep-fry in preheated fat until golden brown.
Serve hot.
