We have had a great amount of success in running Molten Core so far, and now that we are able to down Lucifron, Magmadar, and Gehiness many people can expect to recieve epic items in the coming weeks. Preparation and moving quickly is the key to Molten Core, and there are several things that everyone can do to make things go faster. The better we do in the Core, the more people will want to come along, and soon we will be forced to choose the people who have spent the time preparing themselves for this instance. I have posted below several suggestions and requirements that will help you to be more effective on our raids.

  • Go to the CTMod site and download, at the very least, CT_Core and CT_ RaidAssist. The CT addons are very useful for large raids, and are a required to come to Molten Core.
  • Download and install GEM to reserve your spot in the raid. During the invite period, people who have registered on the GEM list will have preference over other guild members.
  • Log out in front of the instance. The more people who are ready to go, the faster we can start! So repair, buy what you need, and get out of your groups by the time invites begin!
  • Check out this guide to all the major instances. Our strategy may be slightly different, but it will show you what you may be expected to do for each boss and mob!

With the start of Molten Core and regular Zul' Gurub runs, a new method of distributing items seems to be in order. The current system seems to be fairly confusing for members and it is difficult to maintain.

The system that we will be trying out is called SuicideKings, and a complete description can be found by clicking here. We would like to try out this rolling system starting today on the Molten Core run, and continue to use it for any 20 or 40 man raids. If you have any helpful suggestions about the system, feel free to talk to one of the officers.

Please note that this rolling system does not require guild members to download any addons, Spurious and the officers will keep track of everyone's standing.

Now that the guild is starting to run Molten Core and downing several bosses in Zul' Gurub, we have decided to implement a new signup system for raids. All guild members will be required to reserve their spot in any upcoming 20 or 40 man raids by using the interface addon Guild Event Manager (GEM). Members who are not signed up for upcoming events through GEM cannot be guaranteed a spot in the raid.

  • Step 1: Click here to download version 2.08 of GuildEventManager and save it to your desktop.
  • Step 2: Extract GEM from the zip file into .../WorldofWarcraft/Interface/Addons
  • Step 3: If your game is open, restart it. Log back in to your character. You should see a new icon by your mini map.
  • Step 4: Click on the GEM icon. Look for the options tab at the bottom of the window that pops up.
  • Step 5: Click on the options tab. At the top of the window there should be a grey box. Click the area just above the Add button and enter 'gemhighrollers'.
  • Step 6: Click the Add button. Select 'gemdefaultchannel' and then click remove. Look for the Accept button.
  • Step 7: Click the Accept button. You are done!

As per the request of several guild members, the following is a basic outline of the guild banks, what each bank contains, and the best method for accessing them. Guilds banks are open to all guild members, with limited stipulations on accessiblity. Members who have donated the most materials, weapons, and armour will be given first access to any high level items that might make their way into the bank, although quantity of items donated does not always take precedence over quality of items donated.

The guild banks are completely dependant on contributions from guild members. Items are distributed through guild chat spams, ingame mail requests, and at the discretion of the officer

Armourbank: Contains armour of all levels and types.
Rollersweps: Contains all types of weapons and permanent and temporary weapon buffs.
Rollersmats: Contains any item that can be used in a profession.
Rollerspots: Nothing but potions in here, to be used for raids or difficult quests.
Rollersbank: Anything that doesn't belong in the other banks, including patterns, skill books, rings, trinkets, quest related items, etc.

Note: The guild banks rely soley on the contributions of our members.

A word from Spurious:

I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone to the guild. We are now 300 members strong, and we have begun the process of running people through the instances that they need to run in order to be prepared for endgame content (i.e. Molten Core). My officers and I have also begun to focus on crafting high level items for those interested in obtaining gear that would benefit them in the endgame instances.

elcome to the High Rollers, an all new endgame guild on the Azjol-Nerub server. Since this guild's conception less than two and a half months ago, we have managed to grow to a immense size in record time.

Through the month of February we have managed to grow by leaps and bounds, taking on many new sixty level players. This will help ensure the successful completion of an all guild Molten Core run. Let us not forget the other new additions to the guild, ranging in levels from the wee level tens to the up and coming level fifties.

Although we have surpassed the two hundred member mark, we are still accepting new members. We are ever digilent in our search for good people who want to not only play as a team, but work together for the common good of the guild.

It is my hope that this webpage will help the guild to etch out an even more significant spot on our server. This webpage will contain not only all the information our guild members, or perspective guild members, will need to know about our guild. It will also include useful information about individual guild members and their guild functions. It will also contain calendar information of our raid schedules from attunement runs, Upper Black Rock Spire and related instances, and Molten Core level instances.

Information regarding guild rules and policies, our looting system, our ranking structure, specific player duties, and recruitment policies and guide lines can all be located on the about us page.

The site is not complete as of yet, but keep checking back for new content and new and exciting developments.

Yours truly,
Guild Master of the High Rollers
Spurious
