Our home is unusual in featuring ground floor bedrooms, so that you go "downstairs" to bed....but still above ground, since our ground floor is a true first floor and not a basement.

The beauty of this approach becomes clear around the first week in February, when the garden starts to blossom and you wake up to the smell of clematis outside your bedroom window. The next nine months bring an ever-evolving delight of floral aromas and birdsong each morning, and a cool breeze that lulls you to sleep each night.

The master bedroom has direct access to your private, enclosed front yard. A high fence and full foliage provide privacy for both yard and bedroom.

The master bedroom features a walk-in closet and en suite 2-room bath (with separate jacuzzi and enclosed shower). The bathroom's double-vanity is framed by glass bricks for natural light.

The sunny second bedroom comfortably fits a toddler bed, crib, and change table. It features a double closet and built-in bookcase.

The ground floor also features an under-stair enclosed storage area and large linen closet.
