NOTE: Some gluten free foods  can contain wheat, and some wheat free foods DO contain gluten. Example: Oats are wheat free, but not gluten free. if a product is marked "gluten free" there is no wheat in it. Spelt, Rye, Kamut, Barley and Oats all contain gluten.

There are a few supersensitive coeliacs who do not respond fully to a strict gluten-free diet. Such people may be advised by their doctors to try a gluten-free, wheat-free diet. In this diet, breads and flours based on wheat starch are replaced by products made from naturally gluten-free foods such as maize, potato, rice or Soya."
