Minimum standards include
- Document fetal life, number and presentation
- Estimate of amount of amniotic fluid
- Location relative to internal cervical os
and appearance of
placenta
- Assessment of GA using BPD, HC, AC, and FL
- Evaluation of uterus and adnexa. Adnexal masses and fibroid
location and size to be reported
- Fetal anatomy: cerebral ventricles, four chamber heart, spine,
stomach, urinary bladder, kidneys and cord insertion
Commonly included:
fetal neck, posterior fossa, extremities,
ventricular outflow tracts, bowel, and Doppler of umbilical artery
