SSA-ABmaker

Do you own an iPod^®?  Interested in audio books?  Then SSA-ABmaker is for you!

If you are an Apple^® Mac user, then you probably know that there is software for the Mac that can build audio books.  Audio books are sound files, but

• can be broken into chapters,
• can have images with each chapter, and
• can save your place (ie. bookmark) when you are finished listening!

BUT, if you are a Windows^® user, there are VERY few ways to build your own books!  This program, with its support applications, provides an easy way to put together audio books that work!  SSA-ABmaker requires

• SSA (Slideshow Assembler), a command line application for building enhanced podcasts (no longer in development, but still available)
• Apple^® iTunes^® to transfer your files to your iPod - you probably already have it
• Apple^® Quicktime^® - this gets installed when you install iTunes anyway
