These are the before and after images.
On Digital Repairs:
Essentially any any piece of media can be scanned in at a very high resolution and software is used to repair creases, rips, marks, colour shifts, dirt, scratches etc. It's a laborious process actually but I enjoy that kind of work as well as the more creative aspects of photography and art.

On Digital Retouching:
Retouching is typically done with portraiture. Photo retouching, or enhancing, is done for enhancing pictures in some way- usually by removing blemishes or exaggerating the best qualities of persons features.
Example of retouching that includes blemish removal and altering the colours to grayscale for the background.
Example of removing distracting highlight, blemish removal, and image contrasting.
Example of heavy alteration involving extreme colour change, complete alteration of background, and tight cropping.
