Surnames A--D

The surnames are shown below and the link to the right corresponds to the page number in the book that has been scanned as a JPG file. Just click on the page number to view the page.

Abbott:  12, 13, 47, 75, 457  (as new pages are added the numbers will increase from the total when the book is scanned so there is no problem with the addition of new information. )
Carter: (As each page is scanned it will be given a page number so that it is easy to locate pages and keep the files sorted according to page number. The first page will be 001 then 002 etc. This will allow a maximum of 999 pages)

The following shows links to pages that have been scanned with different dpi. The page is one from the Mortlach Community Development Revitalization Project so that the images can be compared to the original. Since the dpi is different for each of the following scans they are reduced in size to fit on the screen when loaded. To see the original or full size image you move the mouse pointer to the lower right corner of the image and a box will appear with the text to "Expand to regular size" or a circle with arrows point out to expand or pointing inwards to shrink to the reduced size.

The file size associated with each of the different dpi is as follows:

#1 = 35K  100 dpi
#2 = 70K  150 dpi
#3 = 116K 200 dpi
#4 = 238K 300 dpi
