About André
André Reverdy was born in the French Alps in a small town called Voiron, near Grenoble, where the green Chartreuse liquor is made. He grew up in France and began his gastronomic career at the young age of 15. He attended cooking school and worked as an apprentice for three years. Upon graduation he managed his first kitchen as a chef near the ski resort of Albertville, France. His fondest cheffing memory is from Corsica. With an abundance of fresh fish and spiny lobster plus fennel bushes and a caper tree in the back of the restaurant, cooking in Corsica was at its epitome of simple elegance.
André is personable and only too happy to share his knowledge of French cuisine with the host or the guests. It is truly a gift to yourself to have André as your personal French chef for any occasion.
