Dear parents of present and future Arbour Lake Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts,
Once again, it's time to register for another year of Great Scouting in Arbour Lake!
Our Group Committee and leaders have already begun to work on plans for next year. As you may know, this program does not happen on its own. It takes many volunteers to ensure a successful program.
If you choose to
register for next year, (as we hope you will), click here for a registration form if you do not have it, and please include the following:
1. Registration fees: These fees are tax deductible with Revenue Canada.
a. $170.00 before June 25th
b. $180.00 June 26 - September 10
c. $190.00 September 11 and later
2. Bottle Drive deposits: Three $75 postdated cheques. These cheques will not be cashed if your family does participate.
Please postdate the cheques with the following dates:
a. September 12, 2009
b. January 9, 2010
c. April 4, 2010
3. Scout Popcorn participation deposit:
The popcorn drive is our single most important annual fundraiser and full participation is required. Typically each youth in Arbour Lake sells, on average, $200.00 worth of popcorn. Please write one cheque for $80.00 postdated for Nov. 1, 2009. This will only be cashed if less than $200.00 worth of popcorn is sold.
4. Volunteer deposit:
Every parent is required to volunteer in some capacity to assist in organizing or operating the program. Please write a deposit cheque for $250.00. This will only be cashed if the parent or guardian does not fulfill their volunteer duties.
Please return the enclosed application form and cheques to your current section leader, drop them off at 64 Arbour Glen Close NW, or submit them during the early registration held at St. Ambrose School on Monday, May 11th between 6:30 and 8:00 p.m.
