sometimes wrongfully called the Easter Chicken. In the poultry
world this beautiful Chicken is bred for it's wonderful
characteristics, such as the blue egg, rumplessness and the
gracious look of it's Ear-tufts. The Araucana is multi-purpose
chicken, you will find the Araucana at the poultry show as well as
in backyard flock as it is a very good forager and hardy chicken
that has a descent rate of lay of beautiful bluish to greenish egg
shell color as well as having a plump and well flesh breast.
