biography

Apryl Dawn is a B.C. native, but her heart will always belong to Winnipeg. It was here that she spent her formative teenage years in and out of local bars discovering the wonders of rock and roll. The raw passion expressed through that music was and still is one of her biggest inspirations.

Not satified with merely being a spectator to these events, she picked up a camera and started to document what she saw. This need to capture a moment bled over into other aspects of her life and before she knew it she had fallen in love with the art of photography.

In 2004, Apryl graduated from the Prairie View School of Photography and branched out on her own as a freelance photographer. She hopes to pursue further work in the music industry and some day move over to the world of music videos.
