Infoplease has a year by year listing of the Oscar winners and nominees in all Categories.

The Animation World Network site is the hub of animation information. They have an Oscar Animation Showcase.

The Internet Movie Database has information on just about any movie.

The Big Cartoon Database has lots of info on American Cartoons.

Many of the shorts are catalogued in sites such as the Warner Brothers Animation Database the Online Encyclopedia of MGM Animated Shorts, and the American Animated Short Cartoons Database.

The Chronology of Animation provides an interesting perspective on the history of the art.

Many of Aardman's works , and others, can be viewed on line at Atom Films.

iFilm is another place to see animation on line.

At Voice Chasers you can learn more about the actors who provide the voices for the animated characters. They are currently revamping the website. 

DVDtoons has a data base of animation on DVD.

Many production studios and directors have their own sites.

Aardman Animations brought you works by Nick Park, (Creature Comforts and Wallace and Gromit), Peter Lord (Adam and Wat's Pig) and Peter Peake (Hum Drum).
