A Christmas Wish

By Angyl

For the first time in years he was alone for the holidays. All Chris wanted was someone to be with, even if for the holidays. The thought of spending it alone yet again did not appeal to him. He was sick of the loneliness.

Chris was 24 years old. He was thin and tall, and quite strikingly handsome. He stood about 6'3 and had a slender built, but not gangly. His blondish hair and deep green eyes tuned a lot of heads, male and female. More than anything his looks had gotten him the bois, well it used to. Now things were a changing.

After his bad break up with Ryan two years ago he had laid low, every once in a while, he'd have a friend over for a quick fuck, but had not really thought about dating.

Now two years later and close to Christmas he realized how lonely he actually was for a constant companion in his life. He had actually been feeling lonely since around Thanksgiving, but as The Holiday season came closer the feeling of loneliness grew. He even began dreading going to the mall, and seeing all the couples walking hand in hand.

One night as he sat looking out his window, Chris saw a shooting star, just out of boredom he made a wish that a cute guy would come into his life for the holidays.

Across the city Calvin saw the shooting star and made a wish of his own. He had been on the streets for the last few months, when his mom had kicked him out for being gay. He wished for a home and a guy to look after him.

Calvin had just turn 18. He stood maybe 5'8. Slender, he looked thinner than normal, seeing as he did not get much to eat. He had brown hair which was so matted by dirt and the weather. Under the dirt and the grime was the face of a handsome guy. He was also cold because he lacked proper clothing.

Calvin had sat outside the coffee shop and asked for spare change to get some food, and hopefully to go in and warm up. He was really down on his luck tonight, well the past few nights. He did manage to get a couple bucks, but that was not enough to get him anything to eats. He was getting depressed about spending another cold night on the street, and another night of no food. He thought back to the home he once had, before he told his mom he was gay and she had told him to get the fuck out. He felt the tears welling up.

Back at Ryan's place he had become antsy, and decided to get out of the house. He hoped in his car and began driving around. Not really going any where. He stopped at a coffee shop. He decided to grab a coffee. He pulled up and parked. He looked and saw a kid sitting by the door asking for money. Ryan disliked panhandlers, and rarely gave change to them. He tried o ignore the kid when he got to the door. He looked down and saw behind all the dirt and grime the most beautiful blue eyes he had ever seen. He felt something stir inside, that he could not explain.

Without hesitation he told the kid to come with him inside. Not his normal thing to do, but he felt something. He told him to order whatever he wanted. Ryan noticed the staff watching and scrutinizing the boy as he ordered food, hesitating as he did. He stood and waited for his food, and then went and sat with the guy.

Ryan made small talk as the kid ate his food. He had just got himself a coffee. He introduced himself, and learned the kids name was Calvin. As they sat, Calvin related his tale to Ryan. He did not have to but he wanted to. Inexplicable, but he did it anyway.

They had been in the coffee shop for a couple hours when Ryan decided he had to go. Calvin seemed a bit dejected about it. On a whim Ryan invited Calvin to come with him. At first Calvin seemed reluctant but Ryan convinced him to come with him. He followed Ryan to his car and got in the passenger side, as Ryan headed for the drivers side.

Each boy had thoughts going through his head, as they arrived at Ryan's place. Ryan lead Calvin to the second bathroom. Closing the door Calvin turned on the shower and stripped down. He let the spray hit him. He had not had a shower in several weeks. Not since the last guy had taken him home. That had been a disaster and had forced Calvin to leave in the dead of night. He hoped this would be different. He grabbed some soap and lathered up. It felt good to get clean again. He just dreaded not having anything clean to wear.

Calvin had spent nearly an hour in the shower. Ryan had snuck in and laid a robe for him to put on. He grabbed the clothes on the floor and threw them in the trash. He had some of his ex's clothes still hanging around, and judging by the boys figure he would fit into them. He sat in the living room waiting for Calvin to come downstairs. He was totally amazed at how hot Calvin actually was. Calvin look confused and asked where his clothes were. Ryan handed him a pile of clothes to try, explaining he had gotten rid of the other ones. Calvin took off back upstairs and came down twenty minutes later. The clothes were a perfect fit. Ryan was surprised how hot the boy looked in the clothes.

Calvin felt good in the clean clothes. He came down and fashioned them for Ryan. Then he sat in an overstuffed chair. He looked over at Ryan and smiled. He felt good for once. Part of him was wanting this to last, but another part was telling him it would not. He decided to stay in the moment. Ryan patted the spot next to him. Calvin came and sat next to him. Not knowing why, he leaned in and snuggled up to Ryan. Looking up at his savior, Calvin felt safe. Something inside told he would be. He snuggled into Ryan more. Ryan put his arm around Calvin. Calvin began to cry telling Ryan it felt good having someone to hold him, and he did not want it to end. Admittedly neither did Ryan. For both this was a good thing come true.

Ryan invited Calvin to sleep in his bed, but only if he felt comfortable doing so. Calvin was a bit skeptical about it, but after he thought about it, he decided he would sleep in Ryan's bed. He followed Ryan up to his room. He undressed to his boxers. He was still leery about getting into bed with Ryan. The last guy had raped him for fuck sake. He sat on the edge of the bed as Ryan stripped down to nothing. Calvin carefully decided to do the same thing. He stripped off his boxers and crawled in bed with Ryan. He was right against the edge of the bed. Eventually he moved more to the middle, and then into Ryan's arms. Calvin began to cry as he lay there. Ryan pulled him close and held him. Calvin cried himself to sleep.

Calvin was disoriented when he woke in the morning. Looking up he saw Ryan. He remembered what had happened the night before. A Smile came over him. He carefully got himself out of bed and headed downstairs. He sat on the couch and waited for Ryan to wake. He pondered what was going to happen, but could not figure it out. He liked this guy, but would this guy hurt him, like the others had done? He knew the answer was no. Not sure why he did, but he did.

Ryan woke to an empty bed. He kind of panicked thinking it had all been a dream. He threw a robe on and went down to make coffee. He smiled when he saw Calvin on the couch. He came over to him, and not thinking leaned in and kissed him. Calvin returned the kiss.

                                                                   -------------------------------

It had been a week since Calvin had come to him. They had developed a love for one another. Now Christmas was days away. Ryan had gone out and spent money to get the things Calvin needed. He had also bought the boy some presents for Christmas. He knew Calvin would not be able to get him anything in return, but it did not bother him. He had made a vow to himself that the boy would not go without anything.

Calvin felt so loved and wanted in his new life. He really wanted to do something for Ryan. If it had not been for Ryan he would still be on the streets. Ryan had gotten him everything he needed. Clothing and whatever else he had needed. Ryan had converted one of the spare rooms into a hang out for him. He would go there when Ryan was out and about and enjoy what he had. Deep inside he still had some apprehensions, but as the days went on, that feeling was going away. Calvin knew he had money in his bank. Now he had the identification to get what he had in the account. The money had been sitting there since he had been kicked out. He had left everything. Not able to go back and get any of it. He would get Ryan to take him to the bank.

A few days later, and out of a whim he called home. He talked to his brother, and then his mother came on the line. He asked if he could come get his stuff from her house. He would be in and out. She agreed. It took five minutes to grab what little he had. His mom had dumped everything in boxes. Ryan helped him grab everything out of the Garage. Calvin's mother watched as they put everything in the Car. She handed Calvin an envelope and then went back into the house. Calvin was close to tears when they left. He threw the envelope in a box, and they drove away.

                                                              -------------------------------

Christmas day was the best day for both Ryan and Calvin. Calvin had gotten Ryan a few things. He was overwhelmed by all the gift Ryan had got him. It had been a great day. Calvin had gone up to his room and put his things in their place. He noticed the envelope on in one of the boxes he had yet to unpack. He sat in his chair and opened it. It was a letter from his mother. As he read it tears came to his eyes. She had asked for time to adjust, but she still loved him and not matter what she always would.

So both boys had gotten what they had wanted for Christmas. Ryan got his companion. Calvin got not only a guy to take care of him, but a hope he would have his family back soon.

                                                              ---------------------------------

A few days before New Year’s Eve, Calvin got a call from his mother to come spend the day with them. She also told him to bring the guy in his life. Calvin felt great. He and Ryan went over for New Year’s Eve. His mom took him in her arms and they cried. He introduced Ryan as his boyfriend. She hugged him and thanked him for being there for Calvin as she had not been. The night was great.

                                                              ----------------------------------

Well it is now two years later. Ryan and Calvin have grown closer. The love they share cannot be described. Calvin's mom and family spent a lot of time over with the boys.

So the two had gotten the Christmas wish they had asked for the night they saw the shooting star. Life was perfect for the boys.

The End
