Screen printing offers a good alternative
to embroidery for larger designs. Using screen printing for promotional
products or garments provides an affordable sales and marketing tool.
Screen printing involves using spayed plastic
which is heat cured. Exceptional screen printing withstands machine
washing and drying. Unlike heat transfers, screen printing is not as
susceptible to cracking and fading when dried in a dryer.
Caring for screen printed garments:
To prolong the life of screen printing,
we recommend turning the item inside-out during washing and drying.
Prices for screen printing:
The cost
of screen printing is based on the number of colours in a design and
the quantity being printed at one time. The more colours, the higher
the cost. The greater the quantity the lower the cost. Printing on darks
costs more than printing on lights because we must first use a white
wash and "flash" the item before applying the colours for
the design.
There is a one-time screen set-up fee for
each colour of the design and a slight artwork charge.
Artwork for screen printing:
Camera ready artwork provides the best
image for screen printing. We are able to take a hand drawn image and
reproduce it for screen printing, but there will an additional artwork
charge. To avoid an artwork charge, the file must in a vector format
- CorelDraw (cdr), Illustrator (ill) or EPS.
