Jasper Region

There are many places to dive within the Jasper National Park which is located on the western edge of Alberta along the Yellowhead highway. Jasper townsite is about 4 hours west of Edmonton on highway #16.

Jasper has many attractions and facilities. There are many fine restaurants and tourist accomodations. You can camp at Whistler, Wapiti, Snaring River or many others, which have amenities ranging from luxurious to primitive! The park offers many opportunites for fishing, mounain climbing, hiking and other types of activites, including diving:

You can get air from "Dive Jasper" which is open Saturdays and Sundays. If you need air on Friday you can call either Richard at (403) 852-2345 or Roger at (403) 852-5035. They have some gear and do dive excursions. For more information write to him at smolnick@telusplanet.com.

*All sites within Jasper should be considered as altitude dives*
