Thursday, December 03, 2009 - Here's a short 36-second fight scene. Made this as a test for a bigger and better project. :)
The ninja character uses a custom rig created using max bones, the character is low-poly and uses displacement maps to generate high detail. Thursday, July 02, 2009 - Very fun project. :)
I had the opportunity to work on another Xbox 360/PS3/Nintendo Wii title called: Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore 2. Created by Konami and Blitz Games. I worked closely with Rod and Shelly Stafford at Facepro to produce lip-sync animation for a variety of songs using FaceFX technology. Here's a list of the songs I had the pleasure to work with on this project. They're listed in no particular order. :)
It was a pleasure to work with the people at Wizard Animation Studios on various interactive films for children. The work they do is really cool. I worked on the interactive movies "Wilbur" and "Pyramid" seen on their website. I worked as a 3D Animator for some of the shots included in the films. The work included animating a T-Rex using a pre-made biped rig , various "clones" of robots and the main Character "Wilbur" for several acrobatic shots using a biped rig. I also did some lighting, rendering, camera-matching, camera-tracking for several shots in the interactive movie called "Pyramid". We worked on various other projects as well which involved camera-matching and combining 3D elements onto live-action plates. I worked with a company called Influxis on several projects. The first project was to model, texture and render 3 "Virtual Servers" from concept to completion. A front view of one of three servers can be seen on the main page of the Influxis website and other images of them are used althroughout their website. Here's an image of all 3:
We also worked on a low-poly project where I modeled and textured several male and female "Avatar" characters with a limit of 400 triangles. I also created some low-poly environment objects as well. I've worked with Michael Hussar, PhD at HitLab Studios on several projects including modeling a character for Sesame Street Workshop 2008. I modeled and textured a "Photoreal Claymation Ernie," the final rendering was done by Hitlab Studios. A turntable animation of the model can be seen in the VFX section at the Hitlab Studios website.
Thursday, September 18, 2008 - I had the pleasure to work
with the wonderful people over at Facepro,
LLC on a new game entitled: Mercenaries
2: World in Flames created by Electronic
Arts and Pandemic
Studios. Now available on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PS2 and
PC! I worked closely with Rod and Shelly Stafford of Facepro,
LLC to produce realistic lip-sync animation for several characters
and cinematics in the game. This game is one of the most exciting projects
I've ever worked on. Monday, August 13, 2007 - I had the honor to work with Atomic Arts in the U.K. to help create an animated sequence for a 180 metre wide screen - the biggest of its kind in the world - that was shown as part of a multi million pound live event in Dubai. I worked on particle effects and logo animation for the event. Soon after I also had the great opportunity to work on 1 special effects shot for the movie "The Escapist" starring Brian Cox and Joseph Fiennes. I worked on one short photo-real rain sequence for the film, which involved basic 3D camera-matching for the shot and creation of a rain particle system. I've worked on several other great projects with them as well involving animation and particle effects. Being one of London's leading post production, visual effects and 3d animation houses, the people at Atomic Arts are a great pleasure to work with. They are an extraordinary team of brilliant and talented individuals. Their work speaks for itself. |
