MY SON
How I love to cradle him
His eyes stare deep into mine
How I love to kiss his tiny little chin
His beauty sends chills down my spine
He takes my breath away
Our days together bring joy and fun
I thank God for this bundle everyday
He's my life, my miracle, he's my son

"SEEDS OF CHARITY"
Earth's lovely garden
GOD has blessed
With gifts to bestow
Upon those with less
A beautiful bloom
A kindness done
A sacrifice -
The power of one
Seeds planted in faith
And loving tended
Nurtured, sustained
With powers engendered
Warmed by life-giving
Sun and earth
Roses, peonies
And phlox give birth
Soon bursting forth
To heal the down-trodden
Spirits and hearts,
The weak and forgotten
Then simple arrayed
In beauteous splendor
A bouquet of flowers
To uplift and cheer her
Blossoms encompassed
In flowing white raiment
Soaring majestic
T'ward heaven truimphant
Crowned with great glory
CHRIST'S pure love unfeigned
Through good works of Charity
Lost souls - regained.

MY PRAYER FOR YOU...
Did you hear my prayer sent to you?
In the silence of the nights,
With the waves of the sea, and
The cool breeze of autumn,
When every creature fell asleep,
Only my heart stayed awake:
To say a prayer for you..
Did you feel my love sent to you?
With the rays of the sun,
When the day nicely began,
With the light of the moon,
When the earth wears her gown,
To lay down in haevenly sleep:
I say my prayer for you..
Did you hear my song sent to you?
With the birds of the trees,
And the lambs in the fields,
At the end of the day,
When the sun's ready to leave,
And the ocean shines with lights,
I sing my prayer for you..
Did you hear my prayer sent to you?
When I pray: your name I call,
And the best I ask for you,
As you are so kind, so good,
And my heart belongs to you,
Stay awake for only once,
To hear.. my prayer for you.

HELLO
I sat there as she approached,
Eyes gleaming with wisdom and a polished,
Diverse nature willing too seek the unexpected,
She came forward.
I trembled within,
Longing for the vision, I imagined the future.
As she struggled along,
I arose with the word forced out by the unknown presence
A silence then forgot the soul and captured the time seared to that moment
A wonder I seeked inside was now in front
Then the word Hello, as powerful as it is, passed by,
and will always be remembered.

OUR TWO HEARTS
You have two hearts now, one being yours and the other being mine.
If you're good to my heart it will be yours forever,
you see I gave my heart to some one else now its fragile and worn,
But should your heart ever grow weak mine will remain strong
so your heart can rebuild its strength again.
If your heart is sad my heart will surely moarn,
and if your heart is happy mine will rejioce,
If your heart should stop beating before mine,
my heart will grow cold and bitter and slowly cease to exsist,
because I would have given you all the love i had,
but if I die before you I will meet you in heaven
and give my heart back to you

HE...
He hears me...
He cheers for me...
He released me...
He policed me...
He saved me...
He paved the way for me...
He teaches me...
He reaches out to me...
He shows me...
He knows me...
He found me...
He has never frowned on me...
He holds me...
He never scolds me...
He needs me...
He leads me...
He has never run away from me...
He has a plan for me...
He gives to me...
He forgives me...
He lives within me...
He gives His love to me...
He gives strength to me...
He gives courage to me...
He gives wisdom to me...
He gives freedom to me...
He cares for me...
He shares with me...
He is always there for me...
He is fair to me...
He believes in me...
He relieves me...
He directs me...
He respects me...
He connects with me...
He protects me...
He provides for me...
He guides me...
He never freaks out on me...
He speaks to me...
He never leaves me...
He is the power that surrounds me...
He means the world to me...

"GA. ON MY MIND"
Blue dark gray clouds'
Bring memories of you so fine
And that old song
You use to hum
"Georgia on My Mind"
You never knew the words
But the thought was there ..
For me to listen, and know you cared.
And make me laugh, ... while I bear
The bad tune
In which you sang
Wish I could hear you ..
Right now I wouldn't care.
So up in heaven keep hummin .. there
God will understand
You are not a singer ...
But my gardener' man
with a green thumb
that grows anything..
Once again I would love
To hear you humming
Perhaps one day soon.

LAST NIGHT
Dear Mom,
Last night I cried myself to sleep
knowing it would be my last time
that I would see you again.
I started remembering our years together,
so I decided to write you this letter,
I know your gone and it hurts inside,
but this is what I must confide,
In my heart is where you will stay,
I'll see you again some day.
your in God's hands now,
so we know your safe.
Please don't worry about us
we'll be alright,
We all know you had a long fight
follow your heart ,
We all knew you wouldn't be
with us one day.
Last night I looked into the sky
and wondered where you were.
Right now I'm not ready to say goodbye
but I know I will have to try. So rest sweet lady rest.
because for you the best has just begun
No more suffering no no pain.
I will think of you when I walk in the rain
and when the first violet blooms
I will send it to heaven just for you.
Last night I cried myself to sleep
Love always

LOVE REMAINS
Today, I sat by his side.
Today, I dried the tears that he cried.
Today, I held my own tears inside.
Today, I held his hand when he prayed to Him to be of his guide.
Today, I was there for him, I was there holding his hand when he cried.
Today, I felt so weak, but for him, I did of my best to stay strong.
Today, I heard him ask of the Lord to take him away,
Lord, I have been here far too long
and I feel that I no longer belong..
Today, I held back all of my tears,
as I heard him tell of how hard he tried.
Today, I felt like I have never felt before, finally
to be let inside after all the time of standing outside.
Today, I heard him just as if it were of the first
time that he said these words to me, he
said, I Love You, and I no longer could hold of the
tears inside, for I broke down and I cried.
Today, I was strong for him and yet my tears fell like rain.
Today, he told me that he loved me as he grasped my hand;
he had all that he could do to
say of these words to me, but I took each of his words
to heart, for it took of his pain.
Today, of all days he surprised me, for I waited for
so long to hear these words from him
and yet when I heard them from him there was no need
for him to explain.
I knew the words that he said were true.
Today my dad said, I love you.
Today, he left of this world, but his love still remains.
Today, my tears fell once again, but it was of his
words, which are of my gains.

WANTS and NEEDS
Thou knowest, LORD, my every need
and to each one you ever heed
in timely course that you know best
will set my heart and mind at rest.
But many times I am confused
and think my needs you have refused,
until by grace you help me see
that 'wants' are often 'needs' to me.
So now, dear LORD, my thanks I give
for showing me that I should live
each moment with full faith and trust
in you to always do what's just.
And while my wants you may let die,
my every need you will supply.
My God shall supply all your need
according to his riches in glory by
Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

MEMORIES
Childhood memories recalled
with kind affection.
Each one held and examined
as a treasured keepsake,
tasted as a sweet confection
then returned to their hiding place
for fond remembrance yet again.
Warm grass beneath running, bare feet;
cool streams from the water hose;
rope swings flying up to the clouds;
trailing ribbons untied from bows;
lemonade signs "3 cents a cup;"
and cookies made with love.
Ghost stories shared in clubhouses;
playing dress-up in ladies wear;
mud pies made for a tea time
consumed with mock enjoyment;
sand caught up in tousled hair;
lightning bugs caught in a Mason jar
only to be pitied and released again
when distant whistles
beckoned home from evening games.

She is so small she scares me
but I must show her not my fear
Beautiful things we will share
as she grows and a mirror
Will she be to teach to dare
to love again though loss
Is her fairy godmother's gift
She will dance and sing for us
as we grow old and open our
hearts to possibilities of youth
My child born in grief but not of it
You will send me to worlds unknown
all because you are in my eyes now
beautiful is what you will become
My child, my life promises joy
all because I saw and you are.
