Fish Cakes

Cakes
1 large potato, cooked and mashed
1 lb. ground fish or fish fillets
1 egg
1/4 cup chopped green onion
2 tbsp minced parsley
1 tsp dried dill
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup bread crumbs
vegetable oil, for frying

Tartar Sauce
2/3 cup plain yogurt or sour cream
1/4 cup minced pickles
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tsp Dijon mustard

Cakes: mix together all ingredients. Press into small patties. Pan fry for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Serve with tartar sauce.

Tartar Sauce: mix together all ingredients.
