John Joyce held school records for running the mile.He could dive before he could swim and he painted before he could draw. As a boy he watched artists paint near his home in Teddington England. He recalls his first water colour paint box. He now works in acrylics. His style moves between traditional landscapes and abstract. John Joyce has recently discovered portrait painting and might do a self portrait. He claims he lives in self imposed exile in Vancouver.
